RJ Kesari News Desk: The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra has been launched for customers in the Indian market. Samsung's most expensive foldable phone was unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London.
This year, the company has changed the name of the foldable phone. This phone is the true successor to last year's Galaxy Z Fold 7. In terms of features, this phone uses the most powerful Snapdragon processor.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra Price in India
In India, the phone's 12GB RAM and 256GB variant costs ₹199,999. The 12GB RAM and 512GB variant costs ₹219,999, and the top variant with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage costs ₹259,999.
Pre-bookings for the phone have begun on the company's official website. The phone's price is so high that it's easily comparable to a used car.
Launch offers include an upgrade bonus of ₹10,000 or instant cashback of up to ₹9,000 on bank and UPI transactions.
Additionally, buyers can choose from no-cost EMIs up to 30 months with zero down payment through select NBFC partners or no-cost EMIs up to nine months through participating banks.
The phone also comes with a free two-year Samsung Care+ protection plan. Customers can also opt for the Galaxy Forever program, which combines Samsung Care+ accidental damage protection with an assured buyback value of up to 55%. This plan is available with a no-cost EMI option for ₹1,084 per month for 24 months.

- Display: The phone features a 6.5-inch AMOLED cover display and an 8-inch AMOLED internal display. Both panels come with variable refresh rates up to 120Hz. Furthermore, the phone supports peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. For screen protection, Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 is used on the cover display and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the rear panel.
- Operating System: This phone will run on One UI 9 based on Android 17.
- Camera setup: There are three rear cameras: a 200MP wide-angle sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 10MP telephoto sensor. There's a 10-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Samsung claims the phone offers an excellent night photography experience and can also record 8K video at 30fps.
- Processor: The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. To keep the phone cool, the company has used a graphite cooling structure in this foldable phone.
- Connectivity: The phone offers Wi-Fi 7, 5G, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port. There's also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
- Battery Capacity: 5000 mAh battery with 45 W wired charging, this phone supports 20 W wireless charging.
