New retailer listings from Europe suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 could be priced significantly higher, raising questions about whether Indian buyers will also have to pay more this year.
While Samsung hasn't revealed India pricing yet, recent pricing trends and the latest leaks suggest that the upcoming foldable phones could be slightly more expensive than previous models.
Hinting at expensive foldables
Samsung will announce official prices at the event, but early retailer listings in Europe offer the clearest indication that this year's foldables won't be cheap.
Leaked prices first surfaced when a Portuguese online store accidentally published product pages before the launch. Electronics sold in Portugal are subject to a 23 percent VAT, so expect these figures to be higher than what buyers in many other European countries will pay.

Leaked prices suggest the phone will start at 2069 euros (approximately ₹2.28 lakh), the 512GB model will cost 2269 euros (approximately ₹2.50 lakh), and the 1TB variant will cost 2669 euros (approximately ₹2.94 lakh).
