RJ Kesari News Desk: Google Pixel 11 Pro vs iPhone 17 Pro: Google has launched its new Pixel 11 series in India, which includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
The Pixel 11 Pro directly competes with the Apple iPhone 17 Pro. Both phones fall in the compact flagship segment and offer premium displays, powerful cameras, and advanced AI features.
However, there are significant differences between the two phones in terms of camera, processor, battery, software, and price. Let's find out which phone is ahead of the Pixel 11 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro.
Who is ahead in design and display?
The Google Pixel 11 Pro and Apple iPhone 17 Pro are nearly identical in size. Both weigh around 204 grams. The Pixel features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an aluminum frame, while the Google Pixel 17 Pro maintains its traditional horizontal camera bar design.
Both phones feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The iPhone 17 Pro features a Super Retina XDR display with a resolution of 2,622×1,206 pixels and a maximum outdoor brightness of 3,000 nits. The Pixel 11 Pro, meanwhile, has a Super Actua panel with a resolution of 2,856×1,280 pixels and a peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits.
The power of pixels in cameras
The two companies have taken different approaches when it comes to cameras. The iPhone 17 Pro features three 48-megapixel cameras on the back, including a primary camera, an ultrawide camera, and a telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom.
Apple also offers additional optical-quality zoom options through sensor cropping. Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro features a 50-megapixel primary sensor measuring 1/1.3 inches, along with a 48-megapixel ultrawide and 48-megapixel telephoto sensor.
The Pixel 11 Pro's telephoto camera offers 5x optical zoom, while Google claims up to 120x zoom through its Pro Zoom feature. The iPhone 17 Pro offers up to 40x digital zoom.
However, due to the increased reliance on AI processing for higher zoom, optical zoom may not deliver the same level of detail as in every situation.
For selfies, the Pixel 11 Pro has a 42-megapixel camera with a 103-degree field of view, while the iPhone 17 Pro has an 18-megapixel center stage camera.
