According to a report in Taiwan's Economic Daily News, a Pentagon customer is planning to change its traditional product shipment schedule, and the report is being interpreted as pointing to Apple. Previous information from supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also points to a shift in Apple's shipment strategy.

Will the Pro model arrive in September?

If these reports prove accurate, the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra could launch globally in September. The iPhone 18, iPhone 18E, and iPhone Air 2 are reportedly expected to arrive globally, including India, around March 2027. 

Apple typically launches a new iPhone series in September each year, followed by the 'E' model a few months later. This time, the company may be changing this standard strategy.

iPhone 18 features and camerAccording to reports, the iPhone 18 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. 

The phone is reportedly expected to be powered by the A20 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is also expected to feature a 4,000mAh battery and 25W wireless MagSafe charging support.

In terms of camera, the iPhone 18 is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup. 

It is reported to include a 48-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone is expected to feature an 18-megapixel front camera.

This could be the price in India

The 256GB storage model of the iPhone 18 is reportedly priced at ₹85,900 in India. Regarding the launch date, reports claim that the iPhone 18 could launch in India around March 15, 2027. 

The iPhone Air 2 and iPhone 18E are also expected to be introduced around this time. However, both the launch date and price are currently based on rumors and reports.
