RJ Kesari News Desk: Telecom company Airtel has discontinued the ₹549 individual postpaid plan, leaving the ₹449 plan as the entry-level individual postpaid option in the company's postpaid portfolio. After the ₹449 plan, the next option will be the ₹699 plan.
This means that those who were purchasing the ₹549 plan and found the ₹449 plan no longer working will face a significant budget hit, as they will now be forced to choose the ₹699 plan, a clear indication of a tariff hike.
There has been no official announcement from the company, but at the time of writing, the Rs. 549 postpaid plan is no longer visible on the company's website. According to TelecomTalk, this plan has also been removed from the company's Airtel Thanks app.
Individual Plan: Customers looking to upgrade to an Airtel postpaid connection now have an individual plan priced at ₹449 per month plus GST as the entry-level option. Family Plan: A family plan priced at ₹699 per month plus GST includes one primary and one add-on SIM connection.
