In the initial phase, Indigo Airlines will start its services, after which other airlines like Akasa Air and Air India Express can also start flight services from here. It is being told that in the recent board meeting of Yamuna Authority, a proposal was made to operate flights to 17 cities.

There is a rule to start ticket booking 30 days before the start of flights from the airport, hence the sale of tickets is likely to start from this evening. Passengers will be able to book tickets through the airline's official website, mobile app and authorized travel portal.

The airport will be identified by the DXN code.

Noida International Airport will be identified by the DXN code. This code has been visible on online travel platforms and flight search engines for the past few months. Now, with the start of ticket booking, this code will become even more important for passengers.

In the first phase, the airport has been constructed on an area of approximately 1334 hectares. It includes a 3900 meter long runway, a modern terminal building, ATC tower, and a cargo hub. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the report on March 28.

Preparations to start bus service also

With the opening of Noida International Airport, the pressure of passengers on Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport is expected to reduce. Passengers from West Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR and the surrounding states will directly benefit from this.

Along with the operation of the airport, bus services will also be started. Preparations have been made to operate buses to Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Uttarakhand.

The Transport Corporation has started deciding its routes so that passengers can easily reach the airport.

Officials believe that the opening of the airport will create new employment opportunities in the region. Sectors related to hotel, travel, taxi, logistics and business are expected to benefit. In the coming time, this airport can become a major aviation hub of North India.
