New Noida Master Plan Unveiled: DNGIR to Get 4 Expressways, Direct Jewar Airport Connectivity & Major Investment Boost
The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the New Noida (DNGIR) master plan. Spread across 210 sq km, the project will feature direct connectivity to four major expressways and Noida International Airport, creating a major investment and residential hub in Delhi-NCR.
RJ Kesari News Desk: The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a major step toward transforming the Delhi-NCR region by assigning the development of the ambitious New Noida (Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region – DNGIR) project to the Noida Authority. Designed with world-class infrastructure, modern industrial zones, and seamless transport connectivity, the mega project is expected to emerge as one of North India's largest economic and residential destinations over the coming years.
Spanning nearly 20,951 hectares (around 210 square kilometres), the proposed city will extend across 80 villages in Gautam Buddh Nagar and Bulandshahr districts, creating a new corridor for investment, employment, and urban development.
First Phase Covers 37 Villages
Development work has already begun with the first phase of land acquisition covering 37 villages.
The initial phase includes:
- 13 villages in Gautam Buddh Nagar
- 24 villages in Bulandshahr
Authorities expect this phase to lay the foundation for future residential, commercial, and industrial development.
New Noida to Connect with Four Major Expressways
One of the biggest highlights of the New Noida Master Plan is its extensive road connectivity.
The city will be directly linked to four of North India's most important expressways:
- Ganga Expressway
- Yamuna Expressway
- Eastern Peripheral Expressway
- Delhi-Mumbai Expressway
Dedicated link roads will connect these expressways, allowing faster travel between Delhi-NCR, western Uttar Pradesh, and other major economic corridors.
The improved road network is expected to significantly reduce travel time while boosting logistics and industrial growth.
Direct Link to the Ganga Expressway Planned
The Noida Authority has also approved plans to establish a direct connection between New Noida and the 594-kilometre Ganga Expressway.
A new 20-kilometre link expressway is proposed for this purpose, with the Detailed Project Report (DPR) expected to be prepared soon.
Once completed, this corridor will:
- Improve connectivity with western and central Uttar Pradesh.
- Strengthen freight movement and logistics.
- Support industrial expansion.
- Attract new domestic and international investments.
Excellent Connectivity to Noida International Airport
Another major advantage of the project is its strategic proximity to the Noida International Airport at Jewar.
The airport is expected to be located just 20–30 kilometres from New Noida, providing residents and businesses with quick access to one of India's largest upcoming aviation hubs.
To further improve connectivity, authorities are planning:
- A new access-controlled expressway along the Yamuna River.
- A 25-kilometre dedicated road connecting New Noida directly to the airport.
These projects are expected to reduce travel time significantly while making the region even more attractive for businesses and investors.
A Future Economic and Residential Powerhouse
Urban planning experts believe the combination of modern infrastructure, strategic connectivity, and industrial development will position New Noida (DNGIR) as one of the most important growth centres in the Delhi-NCR region.
The project is expected to generate substantial opportunities in:
- Real estate development
- Manufacturing and industrial investment
- Logistics and warehousing
- Commercial infrastructure
- Employment generation
- Residential townships
With multiple infrastructure projects progressing simultaneously, New Noida is being viewed as a long-term destination for both investors and homebuyers.
