Samsung Galaxy Watch 9: Price and design
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 is offered in 40mm and 44mm case sizes. In India, the 40mm Bluetooth model is priced at ₹37,999, and the Bluetooth plus LTE model is priced at ₹41,999.
The 44mm models are priced at ₹40,999 and ₹44,999, respectively. The 40mm model will be available in graphite and cream colors, while the 44mm variant will be available in graphite and silver.
The company has also introduced sports, misty, and fabric watch bands. Pre-orders have begun in select markets, and buyers will also receive a 60-day Strava Premium and two-month iFit trial.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 9: Specifications
The Galaxy Watch 9 features a Super AMOLED Always-On display. The 44mm model has a 1.47-inch screen, and the 40mm model has a 1.34-inch screen. Both displays offer up to 3000 nits of peak brightness and Sapphire Crystal glass protection.
The smartwatch is powered by a 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It runs on Wear OS 7 and One UI 9 Watch.
It also features AI-based health features like a new BioActive sensor, heart health score, fitness index, daily cardio load, vitals, hearing, and updated sleep apnea.
Many new features in battery and connectivity too
The Galaxy Watch 9 packs a 445mAh battery for the 44mm model, and a 390mAh battery for the 40mm model. It supports WPC-based fast wireless charging. Connectivity options include LTE, Bluetooth 6.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and dual-frequency GPS.
For durability, it's rated for 5 ATM, IP68, and MIL STD 810H. It also includes a temperature sensor, accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, and ambient light sensor.
Galaxy Glasses feature Gemini AI and 9 hours of battery life
Samsung has also launched its first Galaxy Glasses, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset.
