OnePlus has increased the price of its new smartphone, the OnePlus Nord 6, in India. Shortly after its launch, the phone's price has been increased by up to ₹5,000. The new prices are now live on Amazon and the OnePlus India website.
This change places the OnePlus Nord 6 in a more premium price category. The company hasn't officially stated the reason for the price increase, but reports suggest the rising cost of memory and storage components could be a major factor.
Price suddenly increased after launch
The OnePlus Nord 6's base variant, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is now priced at ₹41,999. At launch, this model was priced at ₹38,999. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant now costs ₹46,999, down from ₹41,999.
This represents a direct increase of ₹5,000 for both models. The new prices have been updated on Amazon and the OnePlus India website. In recent years, many smartphone companies have been gradually increasing the prices of their devices, a trend increasingly evident in the industry.
