According to reports, Sangeeta has always preferred to stay away from the limelight and is rarely seen at public events. Vijay has declared total assets of over ₹600 crore in his affidavit filed for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. 

It also revealed that he has given a loan of ₹12.6 crore to his wife Sangeeta. While Sangeeta's declared assets in the election documents are approximately ₹15 to ₹16 crore, various reports claim her personal and family total assets exceed ₹400 crore.
