Many states in northern India are suffering due to the lack of rain. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning for 14 states within 12 hours.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted at isolated places in Northeast India, West Bengal, and Bihar over the next 2-3 days.
Heavy rainfall is also expected at isolated places in eastern Uttar Pradesh over the next 4-5 days.
Strong winds with speeds of up to 55 kilometers per hour are expected in parts of the central-eastern Arabian Sea until July 15.
Fishermen have been advised to exercise extreme caution when venturing into the sea.
