RJ Kesari News Desk: Weather officials have stated that the monsoon is likely to advance further into the remaining parts of Rajasthan over the next 2–3 days, increasing rainfall activity across most regions of the state.

Monsoon Strengthens Across Rajasthan

The IMD has attributed the changing weather conditions to a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal and the Odisha coast, which is expected to intensify in the coming days.

In addition, a cyclonic circulation over southwest Uttar Pradesh, central Pakistan, and northwest Rajasthan, along with an active monsoon trough, is enhancing moisture inflow and creating favorable conditions for widespread rainfall across the state.

According to the latest weather forecast, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected on 3 July in several districts falling under the following divisions:

  • Udaipur
  • Kota
  • Ajmer
  • Bharatpur

The IMD has also issued a heavy rainfall warning for isolated parts of the Kota division, where intense showers may lead to waterlogging in low-lying areas.
