Rajasthan Weather 8 July 2026: Heavy Rain Alert Across Most Districts as Monsoon Remains Active
Rajasthan Weather 8 July 2026: The weather has changed significantly across Rajasthan as the southwest monsoon continues to strengthen over the state. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued Orange and Yellow rain alerts for most districts on Tuesday, with only Jaisalmer and Barmer remaining outside the warning zone.
RJ Kesari News Desk: Several districts, including Alwar, witnessed intermittent rainfall since early morning, bringing relief from the recent spell of hot and humid weather.
According to the weather department, rainfall activity is expected to continue for the next few days, while weather conditions are likely to improve from July 11 onwards.
Low-Pressure System to Keep Monsoon Active
According to Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Meteorological Centre, Jaipur, the depression that formed over eastern India has weakened into a well-marked low-pressure area over southeastern Madhya Pradesh.
The system is expected to weaken further over the next 24 hours. However, its influence will keep the monsoon active across several parts of Rajasthan for the next 2–3 days, resulting in light to moderate rainfall across most districts and heavy rainfall at isolated locations.
