This move follows a recent review of the state's law and order situation, signaling a strategic realignment of police leadership to enhance administrative efficiency.

Key Leadership Changes at the DG Level

The transfer list features critical changes in high-ranking positions aimed at optimizing departmental performance:

  • Anil Paliwal: Previously handling Training and Traffic, the senior officer has been appointed as the Director General (DG) and Commandant General, Home Guards, Rajasthan.

  • Malini Agarwal: She has been entrusted with the crucial responsibility of Director General (DG) of Police (Traffic), Rajasthan.

Strategic Shifts in Ranges and Commissionerates

The reshuffle has introduced new faces to several major police ranges and commissionerates, reflecting the government's focus on specialized field leadership:

  • Jodhpur Police Commissionerate: Anshuman Bhomiya has been appointed as the new Police Commissioner of Jodhpur, taking over from Sharat Kaviraj. Sharat Kaviraj has been moved to the position of IG, Crime Branch, Jaipur.

  • Ajmer and Bharatpur Ranges: Dr. Ravi has been posted as the IG of the Ajmer Range, while Dr. Preeti Chandra has been appointed as the IG of the Bharatpur Range.

  • Headquarters Appointments: Several senior officers have been reassigned to key administrative roles in Jaipur, including:

    • Rajendra Singh: Appointed as IG (Vigilance).

    • Kailash Chandra Bishnoi: Appointed as IG (Planning, Modernization, and Welfare).

    • Pradeep Mohan Sharma: Named Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic & Administration), Jaipur Police Commissionerate.

    • Anushka Kalia: Posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Headquarters, Jaipur.

District-Level Impacts

Beyond the senior appointments, the reshuffle has also affected district leadership, including the Superintendents of Police (SPs) in Balotra, Jodhpur Rural, Pratapgarh, and Hanumangarh.
