RJ Kesari Weather Report: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert for seven districts on Tuesday, while light to moderate rain is expected in many other areas over the next few days.

According to the IMD, the active monsoon conditions are likely to provide significant relief from the recent spell of hot and humid weather.

Heavy Rain Alert Issued for These Seven Districts

The IMD has forecast heavy rainfall in the following districts:

  • Panchkula
  • Ambala
  • Yamunanagar
  • Mahendragarh
  • Rewari
  • Nuh
  • Palwal

Residents in these districts have been advised to remain alert as heavy showers may be accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds.

Rain is likely at many places in:

  • Kurukshetra
  • Kaithal
  • Karnal

  • Faridabad

  • Panipat

Meanwhile, isolated rainfall is expected in:

The IMD expects the monsoon to remain active across the state from today onward.

Rainfall Likely to Continue Until July 11

Weather officials have indicated that wet weather conditions are likely to persist over Haryana on July 8, 9, 10, and 11.

Although monsoon activity remained relatively weak during the early days of July, weather systems are now strengthening, increasing the chances of widespread rainfall across the state.

HAU Experts Predict Favourable Monsoon Conditions

The Department of Agricultural Meteorology at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU), Hisar, has also forecast changing weather conditions across Haryana until July 10.

According to Dr. Madan Khichar, Head of the Department, the monsoon trough currently extends through Hisar and Bathinda, creating favourable conditions for further advancement of the southwest monsoon.

Arabian Sea Depression and Cyclonic Circulation to Boost Rainfall

Meteorologists say that a developing depression over the Arabian Sea, along with a cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan, is supporting the advancement of the monsoon across northern India.

As a result, most parts of Haryana are expected to experience:

  • Light to moderate rainfall
  • Thunderstorms
  • Gusty winds
  • Heavy rainfall at isolated locations

These weather systems are expected to keep rainfall activity active across the state over the coming days.
