AM General has already submitted a proposal for the program, incorporating Bharat Forge's indigenous MArG (Mounted Artillery Gun) platform. If approved, production and deliveries could begin as early as 2027.

The artillery system can reportedly strike targets located more than 40 kilometers away, delivering high-explosive ammunition with exceptional precision. Its ability to carry more than 20 artillery shells significantly improves battlefield sustainability and reduces logistical challenges for military units.
