High Speed rail rewards

RJ Kesari News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially greenlit three mega bullet train corridors that will intersect at the capital city, dramatically shrinking transit times between key neighboring economic zones.

Connecting Major Economic and IT Hubs Across States

Speaking to the media at the HYSEA GCCS & IT Roundtable event at the Novotel Convention Centre, the Railway Minister detailed that the newly approved network will link Telangana seamlessly with key commercial hubs across Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

The three distinct high-speed lines approved under this master plan are:

  • The Pune–Hyderabad Corridor

  • The Hyderabad–Chennai Corridor

  • The Hyderabad–Bengaluru Corridor

These bullet train networks are expected to act as a major catalyst for real estate development, urban expansion, and high-velocity corporate commerce throughout the entire southern peninsula.

Record ₹5,400 Crore Railway Budget Injection for Telangana

The Union Minister highlighted that the central government has sustained aggressive capital expenditure into local rail frameworks, marking a historic telangana railway budget allocation of ₹5,400 crore.

This financial pipeline has unlocked rapid layout execution for tracking expansions, electrification, and safety upgrades. Beyond transit, Vaishnaw pointed out that the central government’s electronics manufacturing incentive schemes have triggered massive industrial growth, with over 100 electronics corporations establishing manufacturing bases inside the state.

Unprecedented Station Redevelopment Architecture

Simultaneously, Indian Railways is carrying out an aggressive station modernization campaign across the country. Nationally, 261 terminal yards have already undergone structural facelifts, with a long-term target pointing toward upgrading 1,300 stations under a standardized blueprint.

Key Stations Undergoing Face-Lifts in Telangana

Station Name Key Upgrades Construction Method
