Haryana Weather Update:The weather has changed once again across Haryana. The India Meteorological Department (IMD)has issued a short-term weather alert, warning of thunderstorms, gusty winds, and light to moderate rainfall in several districts over the next three hours.
RJ Kesari News Desk: According to the latest advisory, changing weather conditions are expected to bring relief from the ongoing heat and humidity in many parts of the state.
Rain Alert for These Districts
As per the Short-Range Weather Forecast issued at 8:15 AM on July 4, 2026, by the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU), Hisar, in collaboration with the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the following districts are likely to witness light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds during the next three hours:
- Palwal
- Faridabad
- Gurugram
- Nuh
- Jhajjar
- Rewari
Strong Winds Likely
The weather department has also warned that gusty winds may accompany the rainfall in isolated areas. Residents are advised to avoid unnecessary travel, stay away from trees and weak structures, and take precautions during lightning activity.

With the southwest monsoon becoming active over Haryana, rainfall is expected to lower temperatures and provide much-needed relief from the intense heat and humid conditions experienced over the past few days.
