RJ Kesari News Desk: The project, led by the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), will require nearly 1,800 acres of land spread across 12 villages in the Pataudi and Farrukhnagar regions.

Officials believe the ambitious project will attract major investments, boost manufacturing, and generate more than 50,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities in the coming years.

Land to Be Purchased Through the e-Bhumi Portal

Unlike traditional land acquisition methods, the Haryana Government will purchase land through the e-Bhumi Portal, ensuring a transparent and consent-based process.

Under this system, farmers and landowners can voluntarily register their land details on the portal and submit their expected selling price. The government will negotiate with interested landowners, and land will be purchased only after both parties agree on the valuation.

This approach is expected to reduce disputes while ensuring fair compensation for farmers.

Three Industrial Hubs Planned in Phases

The proposed Gurugram Industrial Hub project will be developed in three separate phases across strategically selected locations.

Phase 1: Industrial Hub in Pataudi

The first industrial cluster will cover approximately 750 acres.

Land has been identified in villages including:

  • Rampur
  • Janaula
  • Jhori
  • Jatola

This zone is expected to house manufacturing units, MSMEs, and engineering industries, creating a strong industrial ecosystem.

Phase 2: Pataudi–Farrukhnagar Industrial Corridor

The second industrial cluster will be developed across nearly 500 acres.

The proposed villages include:

  • Jatola
  • Tajnagar
  • Sampka
  • Jhori

Thanks to excellent road connectivity, this corridor is likely to attract large manufacturing companies, logistics firms, and warehousing businesses.

Phase 3: Farrukhnagar–Harsaru Industrial Hub

The third industrial hub will be spread over around 550 acres.

The identified villages include:

  • Babra Bakipur
  • Khwaspur
  • Patli Hajipur
  • Dhana

This cluster will primarily focus on strengthening the region's logistics infrastructure while improving connectivity with existing industrial zones.

KMP Expressway to Boost Industrial Growth

All three industrial hubs will benefit from seamless connectivity to the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway.

Improved road infrastructure is expected to:

  • Reduce transportation costs.
  • Improve freight movement.
  • Strengthen supply chains.
  • Encourage new industrial investments.
  • Enhance logistics efficiency across the NCR region.

Over 50,000 Employment Opportunities Expected

According to government estimates, the project has the potential to create more than 50,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The development is expected to benefit:

  • Local youth seeking employment.
  • Manufacturing businesses.
  • Logistics and warehousing companies.
  • Small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
  • Service providers supporting industrial operations.

Rural Infrastructure to Receive a Major Boost

Apart from industrial growth, the project is expected to improve infrastructure in surrounding villages.

Planned developments include:

  • Better road connectivity.
  • Improved electricity and water supply.
  • Expansion of public infrastructure.
  • Growth in residential projects.
  • Increased demand for commercial real estate.

Experts believe these improvements will transform the rural belt around Gurugram into an emerging industrial and economic zone.
