Haryana News: The Haryana Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections Welfare Corporation has launched an initiative to support traditional artisans and craftsmen through the Shilp Sampada Term Loan Scheme.

Government to Provide ₹10 Lakh Loan Along With Technical Training
Many traditional artisans struggle to expand their businesses due to limited capital and lack of access to modern technology. To address this challenge, the Haryana Government is offering financial support through the Shilp Sampada Term Loan Scheme.
Apart from the loan, beneficiaries will also receive training in computer applications, CAD (Computer-Aided Design), digital designing, and other modern production techniques. This will help artisans improve product quality, enhance designs, increase productivity, and meet the demands of both domestic and international markets.
Who Is Eligible for the Scheme?
To avail the benefits of this Haryana Government Scheme, applicants must fulfill the following conditions:
- Age should be between 18 and 35 years.
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
- Must belong to the Backward Class (OBC) category.
- Should be engaged in traditional crafts or handicraft-related work.
- Annual family income should not exceed ₹3 lakh, applicable to both rural and urban families.
Applicants must also provide valid identity and residency documents while applying.
