According to the RBI's bank holiday calendar this week, bank branches will be closed on July 19 (Sunday), July 22 (Kharchi Puja in Tripura), and July 25 (fourth Saturday). Although UPI, internet banking, mobile banking, and ATM services will operate as usual, customers are advised to complete essential branch-related work before the holidays.
RJ Kesari News Desk: If you have any important banking work to do this week, be sure to check the list of bank holidays before leaving home. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar,
banks across the country may remain closed for up to three days this week. This includes all public and private banks, including SBI, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Punjab National Bank (PNB).
All bank branches across the country are closed on Sunday, July 19th, as banks are closed for public transactions every Sunday. Additionally, banks will be closed on Wednesday, July 22nd, in Tripura, for Kharchi Puja.
Bank branches across the country will be closed on July 25th (the fourth Saturday). This means that if you live in a state where July 22nd is also a holiday, your bank branch may be closed for three days this week.
These bank works will continue
The closure of bank branches does not mean that all banking services will be halted. Customers will be able to use UPI, internet banking, mobile banking, and ATMs as usual. Most services, such as sending money, paying bills, checking balances, making online payments, and withdrawing cash, will remain available as usual.
According to RBI regulations, all banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Furthermore, bank branches are closed every Sunday. Therefore, customers are advised to complete check deposits, drafts, passbook updates, or other important branch-related tasks well in advance of the holiday.

There is no holiday next week
There are no specific bank holidays scheduled for any state until August 1st, except for July 26th (Sunday) next week. Banks operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on normal days. However, some branch hours may vary slightly depending on the local level.
If you need banking services even on holidays, the bank's mobile app, internet banking, UPI, and ATMs will be available 24 hours a day.
However, sometimes some digital services may be temporarily affected due to system maintenance. Banks inform their customers in advance in such situations.
